What we do.

A clearly structured three-hour block. Espresso first, then milk, then pour. With breaks, with correction, with the setup that runs in the café.

00:00 — 00:30

Understanding espresso

Grind, tamp, 27-second extraction. Why the crema decides whether your Latte Art has any chance at all.

00:30 — 01:15

Steaming milk

Texture, temperature (max. 65 °C), the standard position of the steam wand. You steam ten times — until it sits.

01:15 — 02:15

The first pour: heart

Height, speed, centre. We practise the heart because every other pattern is built on it. Live correction throughout.

02:15 — 03:00

Rosetta

Wiggle, draw, swing. You leave with a rosetta you can take home — and homework for the week ahead.

Frequent questions

FAQ

After 3 hours, will I really have a rosetta?

Most people land one or two in the course. To do it reliably you'll need about ten more days of practice — but you'll know exactly what to work on.

What if I can't do anything yet?

That's exactly what the foundation course is for. We assume nothing. Espresso, milk technique, pour movement — all from zero.

What's included in the price?

Three hours of teaching, coffee and milk (as much as you need), an espresso cup to take home, and a written confirmation.

Do I need to bring equipment?

No. Everything is there — machine, grinder, pitchers, cloths. Bring a comfortable apron or an old T-shirt, milk splashes.

Is there a break?

Yes, a short break after about 90 minutes. Espresso and water are available throughout.

Is the course suitable for left-handers?

Of course. We set up the machine accordingly and adjust the steam-wand position.

Can I continue straight after the foundation?

Yes — many people combine Foundation + Intensive within two weeks. We offer a discount on the combination, just let us know.

What's the point of the homework?

We send a practice routine by email: ten days, 20 minutes each, with a clear goal per day. Those who do it visibly change level.
