No. The foundation courses assume nothing. You learn everything from pulling an espresso to the first heart, from scratch. If you already run a café, you'll get more out of the Intensive or the Professional Training.

Six people maximum per course — Professional Training: four max. Every person has their own machine, grinder and milk. Nobody just watches.

A professional setup, like in the café: dual-circuit espresso machines, grinders calibrated to a 16.0 g profile, professional milk pitchers. Nothing hobby-grade.

Latte Art Foundation 119 €, Intensive 289 €, Barista 249 €, Professional Training 1,490 € (5 days), Private Lesson 95 €, Corporate from 89 € per person. All material and coffee included.

At two locations: Modo Berlin (Mitte) for the Latte Art focus, Maisto Caffè in Oranienburg (30 min north of Berlin) for espresso and roastery practice. Which course runs where is shown on each course page.

Yes — at the end of every course a written confirmation with course content and date. The Professional Training finishes with a written test and a practical exam.

Private lessons and corporate workshops: yes. Regular group courses run in German, with English help where needed.

Free of charge up to 14 days before the course starts. Up to 7 days: 50 %. After that the full fee — but we always try to find a replacement date.
